A. CUSTOMER ACCOUNT MANAGER (CAM)

A Customer Account Manager (CAM) is the primary liaison between a company and its clients, primarily focusing on post-sales relationships. Their goal is to drive long-term account growth, ensure client satisfaction, and handle renewals.

 

1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Relationship Building:

Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building trusting, long-term partnerships.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, and product development) to ensure timely delivery of products or services according to client needs.

 

Account Growth (Sales):

Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts to expand the customer's value.

 

Issue Resolution:

Act quickly to address client complaints, escalations, or challenges to maintain trust.

 

Reporting & Strategy:

Prepare regular reports on account health, analyze key performance metrics, and present actionable insights to clients.

 

Contract Management:

Oversee contract renewals, negotiate terms, and finalize agreements.

 

 

 

2. QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

 

Experience:

Proven experience in client management, customer service, or sales.

 

Communication:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present professionally.

 

Organization:

Strong project management and multitasking skills to juggle multiple accounts simultaneously.

 

Tech-Savviness:

Proficiency in using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software and basic office suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
